New Report Details Importance of STEM Skills

A new report from the Brookings Institution indicates that science, technology, engineering and math skills are needed for more than just high-tech professionals and engineers. By expanding the definition of a "STEM job" to any job that requires specialized knowledge in one of those fields, the report found: 50 percent of STEM jobs do not require a degree.
