Skillpoint Alliance Co-Hosts Central Texas Global Game Jam with The University of Texas at Austin

Last weekend, The University of Texas at Austin’s Game Development Program and Skillpoint Alliance co-hosted the Central Texas Global Game Jam (GGJ). Mentor Spotlight: Velocity Prep Helping High School Students Excel

Knowing what to do after high school can be stressful, with college applications and career fairs, the decision for any student can be difficult. Lifeworks Partners with Skillpoint to Provide Professional Development to Youth

Last month, Lifeworks partnered with Skillpoint Alliance’s Professional Development department to provide 60 hours of Workforce Readiness training courses for youth between the ages of 18-21. Classes were provided to train participants entry level job skills including professionalism in the workplace, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to help them succeed in real life situations.
