Celebrate the Holidays with Skillpoint!

At Skillpoint, we envision a community where every person is given the opportunity for success through access to education and training. Many of the people we serve experience significant barriers to success, and are looking for a way to overcome. Skillpoint has the opportunity to offer hope through providing relevant, industry-led education and training to help Central Texans reach self-sufficiency.

This holiday season, we want to ask for your support in building human capital, and invite you to join us in giving the gift of hope to our neighbors in need. Because of your support, Skillpoint has impacted more than 135,000 people in the past 21 years, and we couldn’t be more thankful for those standing behind us.

We’re not only passionate about our mission, but also about the great work organizations in our community are doing. That’s why this year, we’ve decided to partner with Capital Area Food Bank and Strive2Thrive to give you even more opportunities to give back.  Join us during the month of December, as we aim to provide opportunity to more Central Texans and help our neighbors in need.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Help us build human capital: Because we know hunger can be a barrier to success, we’re donating 10% of gifts received during the month of December to the Capital Area Food Bank. Maximize your gift by helping us build human capital and feed the hungry. Give online here.

 

  • Help us close the hunger gap: From Tuesday, December 1 – Friday, December 18, we’re hosting a food drive benefiting Capital Area Food Bank. Bring your healthy, non-perishable food items and help provide nourishment for those in need. Collection times are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m at the Skillpoint Offices.   • Help us clothe those in need: Skillpoint is participating in Survive2Thrive’s Annual Pajama Drive, and will be collecting new, unwrapped pajamas for males and females of all ages from Tuesday, December 1 – Friday, December 18. Collection times are Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m at the Skillpoint Offices.
