On Thursday, December 17, the STEM Council and Adult Workforce Council at Skillpoint Alliance cohosted their year-end meeting at Electronic Art’s offices in North Austin.

After the scheduled expert panels and presentations, Skillpoint Alliance awarded leaders in industry, community, and education for their role in helping to expand Skillpoint’s programs throughout Central Texas.

The STEM Council winners were; Kevin Lally at Tokyo Electron America; The Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University accepted by Dr. Michael Casey; Intel accepted by Dawn Jones; Pecan Street, Inc. accepted by Suzanne Russo.

“We were so happy to honor several of our key partners after all the support they’ve provided to the STEM Council at Skillpoint over the years,” said Lonny Stern, Senior Director of the STEM Council at Skillpoint Alliance. The Adult Workforce Council winners were Seton Healthcare Family, Workforce Solutions Capital Area, and Mendez Middle School.
